Fortini Compact Multi Fibre Strawberry 4 x 125ml

Fortini Compact Multi Fibre is a Food for Special Medical Purposes for use under medical supervision. Fortini Compact Multi Fibre is a nutritionally complete 2.4kcal/ml ready to drink oral nutritional supplement, for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition in children from one year onwards. Fortini Compact Multi Fibre is available in 125ml bottles, with a flexible straw attached, in two flavours: strawberry and neutral.

Indications

For enteral use only. ACBS approved, prescribable on form FP10 (GP10 in Scotland) for the following indications: for the dietary management of disease-related malnutrition and growth failure, in children from 1 year onwards.

Contra-Indications

Not suitable for infants under 1 year of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.

Precautions

Due to the fibre content, intakes greater than 4 bottles per day should be used with caution in younger children. Monitor fluid intake to ensure adequate hydration status.

Preparatiopn and directions for usage

Fortini Compact Multi Fibre is best served chilled. It may be frozen or gently heated (not boiled). Shake well before opening.

Shelf Life

12 months. Best before date: see side of bottle

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place (5-25°C). Once opened, Fortini Compact Multi Fibre must be consumed within 4 hours, or stored in a refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Discard unused contents thereafter.
